Why arming teachers doesn't work.

MPUSD is reporting no one was injured when a teacher accidentally discharged a firearm in class today. A letter has been sent to Seaside High School parents and I've included a screenshot of that letter below. The teacher, who is not being identified, was placed on leave.

Kind of strange now. You want to be a teacher? Then you need to learn how to handle a gun. Just too bizarre for me. I am sure many teachers who enter into this profession didnt visualize about being "a cop" or carrying a gun in a school. Then again, it is not common that teachers multi-task everything. They are like social workers, physcharist, parents, teacher, consultants all in one. Who wants to be teacher these days???Hmmmmmm

By the way, when you say the whole school is unarmed, the outcome wont be good. Does this mean every school, workplace, church, hospital, library, supermarket need to be armed too? Geeez.
