Traditionally redheads have been associated with sin, sex and evil.

There are tons of superstitions about us:

• In Denmark it is an honor to have a redheaded child.

And tons of stories, especially sexual/Biblical:

• Adams first wife Lilith, always depicted as a redhead, is known to have refused to lie beneath Adam during sexual intercourse, and stated” why should I lie beneath you when I am your equal since both of us were created from dust”.
• At both St. Paul's Cathedral and the Sistine Chapel Eve's hair turns red after she takes the apple.
• Succubi, mythical female creatures who draw energy from men via sex, are typically portrayed as redheads.
• Mary Magdalene is consistently painted with red hair.

We've been considered witches (Greece), vampires (Greece again), and unlucky (Egypt). South Park says we have no souls. It's also one of the last acceptable forms of open discrimination (), with redheaded women being stereotyped as feisty, fiery, and aggressive, while their male counterparts are stereotyped as wimpy and evil.

It's the only hair colour not simply associated with a personality but considered definitive of one.

That having been said, I still think some of the hottest women out there are redheads and turn to stare every time I pass a fellow Ginger in the streets.

Great line... . Had a redhead GF a few years ago, and this certainly held true. Wow, do I ever miss her insatiable appetite, her wandering around in only a g-string and us turning heads when out & about (I'm a 'ginger' as well ). Also, her adventurousness - I remember using an electric shaver to trim her once - have never seen a girl so wet... deep sigh... good times...
