Gentlemen if I may add something of value here. Is it not the lure of the hunt, the euphoria of attaining a goal based on your merit not the size of your wallet, the enjoyment of having a partner who enjoys your company as opposed to her financial gain?
You've raised some good points,
Baz.
There was a dancer I liked, that used to work at
HOL on Queensway. Her working name was
Natasha. She was a brunette. She had a sister that also worked there, and went by the name of
Madonna, with long curly blonde hair. I never actually spoke to her sister, for no reason, other than that she didn't walk by me, when I was looking for company, but
Natasha pointed her out, and said she was her sister.
Natasha said men would try to impress her by telling her how much money they had in the bank, or in stocks and shit, and her attitude was, "big deal, spend for more than two dances, if you're so rich". I only saw her a few times; I was hot for a friend of hers working there, who had an erratic schedule, (this was 1994).
Sometimes I would hire the dancers just for conversation, not because I had to pay someone to talk to me, but because I wanted the practice time, hanging with hot women, who are wearing next to nothing. You can ask them to get naked, but you don't have to. There's a certain power involved in choosing to not exercise all of your privileges. I'd usually give them a sum of money when they sat down, and ask them to tell me when it had run out. They liked that, because they knew I wasn't going to stiff them on the money, like some guys do - once. If they were enjoying themselves, they often came back, off the clock, when they were between dance gigs. I didn't expect to get anywhere with the dancers, I was just building game, so I'd have plenty of experience when meeting a hot civvie.
Sometimes the hottest women never get asked out, because all the guys think she must be dating a pro athlete, or any man they consider better than themselves. Most guys have no trouble speaking to 'plain Jane', because they feel they have nothing to lose. If 'plain Jane #1', gives them a brush off, there are thousands of others equally semi attractive.
If they meet a hottie, however, suddenly they start talking about the weather, or looking up and whistling, or making farting sounds with their mouths, and they think a hot woman would be impressed. That approach only works in Australia.
In reality, they're scared, because being rejected by a hot woman would matter to them, so they do nothing, to avoid that rejection, that might not have happened, if they'd grown a pair, and shown some genuine interest.
I said to her once: "You can tell a lot about a man by how he behaves, when he doesn't have to".
One thing I really liked about
Natasha, we'd be just sitting there, talking, (I usually paid about $80-$90 an hour for that, plus our drinks), and every so often, Natasha would say, "Oh, I want to dance to this song", and she's getr up, and give me a lap dance, and then get dressed, and continue the conversation. Those were the ones I appreciated the most.
Back in the day in Strip clubs, (until early 90's, no self respecting dancer would ever approach a guy, and ask if he wanted a dance. She'd try to make fleeting eye contact, while walking quickly by. The guy had about two seconds to convince her to stop walking, otherwise, he'd have to wait an hour, until she walked past him again.
Later, the middle tier dancers would just ask every guy sitting there minding his own business, like a guy with deaf mute cards on the subway. I found that to be a real turn off, because no dancer that I would be interested in would ever need to do that. It made me feel like I was walking up Jarvis Street on a summer night, and being offered 'dates' by street walkers wearing cheetah print miniskirts, with more mascara than the late
Amy Winehouse.
That's I big reason why I stopped going to strip clubs many years ago. The harassment of 'dance pushers', and the fact that very few woman are worth seven dollars a minute to see naked. Dances were $5 for many years, and a bargain. They were $10 for a while, but with interaction, so that was a bargain. Later the dancers became less attractive, and charged $20 a song, and that was no longer a bargain.
I wasn't a 'no hobby' guy back then; I just didn't have a computer, and it was pot luck with Now magazine ads, and red zone voice ads. Often the voice for the ad wasn't even the Escort advertising. I found a few gems that way, but not a high percentage; maybe 2-3/10 were a 'would repeat', and lots of them had more restrictions than today. There weren't a lot of women offering BBBJ in the 90's and earlier. Many didn't kiss, or receive oral, it was just CBJ and CFS.
The current kind of menus were usually available in Quebec, because most Quebec girls like sex as much as the guys, and they do half the work. I would hazard a guess that many of the best Escorts are 'lapsed Catholics', and that's a big part of the reason the 'Catholic School Girl' outfit gets guys so hot. They're the girls who went to school with other girls, and no guys, except the gay music teacher.
There was this one little spinner that used to work at Fillmore's, ages ago. She was about four foot eleven, and a AA cup, (that's smaller than an A cup, a preteen chest, with a woman's nipples. She was about 80 pounds, soaking wet. For her stage show, she danced to The Pogues, and never took any of her clothes off. Ever so often, she'd just flip her skirt up, and show the guys she was commando. She had a full dance cards, every night. She never even walked by the pool tables in the back, where I was usually playing the standard two bucks a game, challenger pays.
