Stray cat becomes seeing-eye cat, helps guide her owner's blind dog
5 days ago
A guide cat? For a dog? Retired civil servant Judy Godfrey-Brown says her 8-year-old dog, Terfel, was having a hard time navigating around the house — bumping into things and spending lots of time confined to his basket — after cataracts rendered him blind. But the pooch has a new lease on life, thanks to a stray cat Godfrey-Brown adopted. The kitty, named Pwditat (get it?), immediately coaxed Terfel out of his basket and now leads him around the house and garden. "She uses her paws to help guide him," Godfrey-Brown told the Sun. "They are glued to each other and even sleep together now." Aww.
Candyman said:I've noticed that most of people with big dogs are not fat. Tends to hold true with everyday people and dogs. Owners of small tiny dogs don't bother to walk them as compared with owners of big dogs, so tiny dog owners tend to be fatter.
This could be a secret to losing weight.
Am I on to something here?.
