Why go there....

This forum is great, this board has all that the others have and more and less, less on a positive note. So why do so many here also belong and peruse other boards?

The other board (the red one) has many more users, therefore more interactions and reviews. I find I have plenty of time to view and use both. Sometimes it's not as positive and I tend to ignore those threads.

Most will cruise and view other boards to check out on reviews. I mostly concentrate on reviews and agree this board is heavy on them but remember the biggest board has 6 times the membership and only fitting to view there. It does suck that you have to bypass all those have you seen her threads-recommend threads which are mostly made by the agency owners/indies friends. Exposure is fitting but most can see through it.

Here there is less of those threads and easier to view reviews that count. Also I am curious to know why so many handles post their reviews here only and stop posting there?.

Then there is the other site that the owner believes their lobby is what attracts clients and paying advertisers. Wrong in so many ways as this section is purely for entertainment purposes. The real money is in reviews. Not how many hits you get but of how many reviews.

It's not the board you are in but the men running it and the friends you meet because of of it. I am not turning back, will remain a HUBGFEite for life. Or till they kick me out.

Nice Danny, thanks for that explanation. I too feel welcomed here it's only my second board,joined a couple others since, one doesn't seem to want me as I'm still awaiting approval?? and the other is run by a crazy person so I steer clear of it.

I have to admit. The other board has gotten better. The red staff must have done their homework lately, and even the most caustic posters seem to have eased off. I go back to communicate with old friends/acquaintances and read the odd review and catch up on how my old regs are doing. But, I've decided to "rest my laurels" here for the long term, and the clock is ticking on when I'll delete my account over there again.
