Why guns should never be banned.

WIll run and hide in someone's crate.....wait...its quite stinky....need to find a hiding place...

A little perspective is always helpful.

To be honest this chart has no value without more info.
It does not show the criteria used or the source data.

Lacking that there is no way to truly assess the chart.

Peace....how about this. If you don't like guns, don't get one. Leave the rest of us alone to make our own choices. You're just as bad as someone who wants to outlaw the adult sex trade.
OK. Then I am baaaaaaaaaaaaaddddd!:Praying:

Please...explain the difference to me if you see one.

The difference is the Morally Superior are always right unless the Morally Superior disagree with them...........then the ones who disagree are the Intellectually Inferior

One of the problem with banning gun sales is not just the fact that criminals will still get them. Rather how do you justify police state action such as removing every gun owned by anyone..................This would include but not limited to hand guns, rifles, shot guns cannons, muskets, powder loaded anything, replicas, antiques regardless of the condition or working order.

I have never advocated banning guns.

And I remember everyone in a tizzy in 2008 that their guns were going to be taken away...um, when did that happen?

Allow me add.
We disagree on this topic and will continue to disagree on it. I do not disregard anyone's thoughts and appreciate the discussion.
Gun control and safety is an important issue and it should always be on the table for debate.

Not for a lack of trying by the white house.............But on a federal level the rights have been reduced

Don't these incidents just prove the need for law abiding citizens to be armed if they wish? In most of those situations, if not all, there were bans on guns in the locations that these asshats went off. Nobody could defend themselves against them because they followed the laws and the shooters didn't.

There are plenty of stories out there of people defending themselves from criminals breaking into their homes and on the streets....but they don't get nearly the coverage and instead, what we get is the opinions of the criminal's family.

As far as I know there are NO states that ban firearms. All have varying requirements towards owning a firearm.
If a person is properly licensed.
If a person is properly vetted.
If a person has had EXTENSIVE firearms training.
If the person is operating within the laws established by that state, I believe they have the right to carry in public. WHICH IS A TOTALLY SEPARATE ISSUE FROM THE RIGHT TO OWN. Just because you own a firearm, does not mean you are a responsible firearms owner.

If you think owning a pistol or having a pistol with you makes you safer, you are mistaken.

I am not sure if you have read what I have posted above. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN BANNING OF ALL FIREARMS.
I do believe in stricter gun control measures.

I think we need to do away with speed limits, 'cause speeders gonna speed.

So we should make prostitution illegal because some women get trafficked. Right?
We should do away with private vehicles because some people get drunk and cause fatal accidents. Right?
I can go on....

As for the Laws established by the state....there is a federal document that has something to say about the right to bear arms. It's pretty clear too. Why did they put that in there....because those who wrote it knew that individuals have a right to defend themselves from others, especially an overreaching government.

I have no problem with some requirements for gun ownership AND for being allowed to carry. But it can and has gone too far in places. So once again, my usual argument. If you don't want one, don't get one....but don't tell me what I can or can't have.
You cant have my beautiful asian women. Funky & Music
