I post the threads and make the comments that I have made in the past for one simple, over-riding reason:

I see the world differently than most others. And like everyone who posts on this forum, I want to post my thoughts.

For example, when I drive by an Animal Hospital, I see that dogs and cats get access to private healthcare while humans are denied that right. And I take notice of that.

When I realize that people spend $4,000 on surgery for their dog but profess that they couldn't afford ANY private healthcare for themselves, I take notice.

When I uncover that, in Canada, we spend - by way of taxes - $5,000 per person on healthcare; or in other words, $20,000 for a family of four, yet we proclaim $1600 monthly premiums for American healthcare coverage is unaffordable, I take notice.

If you get rid of all your biases, you too, will take notice and realize the world isn't as 'the group at the water-cooler' tells you it is.

I am a libertarian and I want as much freedom as possible. No, that doesn't mean allowing drunk drivers the ability to travel 220 km down a city street. But it does mean working toward minimal government and maximum freedom.

So, yes, I realize that I piss people off. But, without people like me, EVERYONE in the world would still believe that 15 hijackers with box-cutters took down 3 planes because all 600+ people on board those 3 planes were too scared to risk fighting off the hijackers and reclaiming their lives.

Group think (agreeing with your peers) is what brought us slavery. It is what brought us mob-lynching and illegality of homosexuality. It is what provides all of the abuse and excesses of government.

You might not respect me or understand, but people such as myself are SUPER important to this world.

You speak your mind brah, I can respect that just don't be a motherfucker with the ladies man.

I treat women EQUALLY to how I treat a man.

I do not give special treatment to women. When I grew up, I saw women as being different from men. But, I was also told to ignore those obvious differences and to treat women the same as men. So, now I do.

At work, many times I have been asked by women to lift heavy objects or do strenous physical work. I have refused. I tell the women that they should report there inability to Human Resources and ask for accomodation.

This is truly treating women equally.

Johnnybegood, if a lady treats you like a piece of shit, are you going to blame yourself for it? Do you see women as inferior by belittling their intelligence or Independence? Do you feel there is a need to be a man in control? There is nothing wrong being a decent person. There is nothing wrong opening a door for both men and women. There's nothing wrong when a man or woman voices her opinions. You brought up my momma before and let me tell you something; she told my three sisters to be brave independent self reliant and avoid talkers or MANGINA.

I am NOT a Mangina but I enjoy playing with vaginas!

Mal, serious question, how do you do with the ladies in the civvie world? No judgement, I'm just curious.

I am married and I have a girlfriend.

And they know about each other.

I do OK.

MAL,

I don't dislike you and I do (form time to time) appreciate some of the thought provoking topics you post because they have the potential to raise sometimes productive questions that might not otherwise have come to mind; however (and this is just a suggestion) I do think that if you could reformulate your some of your thoughts to be less offensive when posting them within the forum you might get more meaningful responses and less rude/pointless tripe thrown at you on the board...

Quite simply put; emotional outbursts rarely garner much more than additional outbursts of emotionality; thus if though and discussion are truly what you're seeking be more pensive in your posts- pull back on the crass and instead probe posters for additional questions and/or answers within their replies because thoughtful discussions are always the most productive!

More than a suggestion, I fear, based on a comparison of writing styles and attitudes...

So let me get this straight, you think we should have the same kind of health care that pets have now? :SayWhat?:

I personally think there should be some government mandated healthcare for pets and farm animals too. Not necessarily full government-paid healthcare, but perhaps a private-insurance mandated by government, with some government assistance for poorer pet owners. Sort of like an Obamacare for domestic animals. It'll help farmers and pet owners alike to have a bigger pool of insurance coverage to draw from. Farm animals are often in our food chain, so making sure they are all healthy is good for our health. Pets are often considered like family members to many people, and they contribute to the mental healths of these people, so again keeping them healthy keeps us healthy.

When I uncover that, in Canada, we spend - by way of taxes - $5,000 per person on healthcare; or in other words, $20,000 for a family of four, yet we proclaim $1600 monthly premiums for American healthcare coverage is unaffordable, I take notice.
$1600 monthly means that you're paying nearly $20,000/year. By my math, $5000 is less than $20000. I'm not sure if it is by your math or not. You will have to show your math.

If you get rid of all your biases, you too, will take notice and realize the world isn't as 'the group at the water-cooler' tells you it is.
Who hangs out at the water cooler these days? Mostly libertarians, I would guess.

I am a libertarian and I want as much freedom as possible. No, that doesn't mean allowing drunk drivers the ability to travel 220 km down a city street. But it does mean working toward minimal government and maximum freedom.
Libertarianism is one of those things that sounds good on first impression, with all of that emphasis on "personal freedom", "personal choice", etc., etc. On some further deeper thought, that impression completely goes away for most people. Replace all of those "personals" with a more common term, and you quickly figure out that libertarianism about "me, me, me"! It's all about selfishness, and greed: I got what I got, and I don't want to share any of it. It's little wonder that many corporate CEO's and sociopaths are libertarians.

So, yes, I realize that I piss people off. But, without people like me, EVERYONE in the world would still believe that 15 hijackers with box-cutters took down 3 planes because all 600+ people on board those 3 planes were too scared to risk fighting off the hijackers and reclaiming their lives.
To be fair, that's got nothing to do with libertarianism, that's just conspiracy theory nuttiness.

Group think (agreeing with your peers) is what brought us slavery. It is what brought us mob-lynching and illegality of homosexuality. It is what provides all of the abuse and excesses of government.
Yup, and in most cases that's from religious group think. Religions are also a bit of a problem that needs to be eliminated.

You might not respect me or understand, but people such as myself are SUPER important to this world.
Wow, when it comes from such a reliable and esteemed voice of reason, how can we disagree?

Mister Asian Lover is also known as No Drama on the another board. There's no question about it. He's originally wanted to dominate the lounge on the blue board and came here only when he gets banned over there. Doesn't seem like he cares where he posts, just that he posts and inflicts his opinion on every topic upon readers of a forum.

That was obvious a long time ago when he repeated his threads over there. Shit, he even bumps his own threads like they do on that place. The bottom line is that he makes you reply, pissed off or not.

It is the advertisers who pay and dictate where they spend their advertising dollars. I don't see moderators complaining about this here, again it's only for entertainment purposes and I laugh at those that take him seriously. They should complain about the hundreds of fake hits they get over there though. If not they are not too smart to advertizing with cheats.

Once again all part of entertainment and I am sure 95% of members here don't give a damn on what goes on the lobby here. It's the reviews that count and what makes people come over here and fills the owner's pockets with cash.

Just MHO.
