wikileaks and the released diplomatic documents

I just watched an episode of frontline on PBS on how the documents were obtained, and how they got to wikileaks and the story behind the story.

There was a segment on how a rep from wikileaks was at a hacker convention and the "motto" behind wikileaks and hackers in general.

Basically is says this: there should be no secrets.

This kind of pisses me off because none of the people standing behind this motto would really want all their secrets revealed. I mean, if they fully and truly believe in "no secrets" why don't they post their SIN numbers online? Why don't they post their bank account information online?

I forget who said it in the "what annoys you" thread but whoever posted hypocrites, I'm with you all the way. Hackers are nothing but hypocrites......

Today's publication marks the latest in a string of secret government documents published by the rogue media organization. In July, Wikileaks released the , containing over 91,000 reports from the war in Afghanistan from 2004 to 2010.

Did you know that wacko was going to release the war documents without removing the names? This meant that anyone who was working for the US military (iraqi citizens) would be executed.....He only relented when so many of his workers voiced their concern and the NY times and the London Guardian refused to release the documents with the names in them.

This guy sanji or whatever the fuck his name is should be removed....he's a danger to society.

You know what would be totally awesome? To find out some dirt on the sanji guy, then post it on his site lol.....like maybe a video of him fucking a goat or something......Then if he didn't post it, he'd be shown to be a hypocrite, and if he did post it, he'd be shown to be a perv.....
