Ya know, I was one who grew up remembering Bruce Jenner in the '76 Olympics. As the transition to Caitlyn was occurring, I have to admit it confused the hell out of me. For about a day. I can't imagine how it would be to see yourself different than your established public identity. If her example helps out any one going through the struggles of the same journey, and gives them the strength to not hurt themselves and travel the same road, then god bless her.

I for one think this is incredibly empowering for the trans community and especially trans youth, who often go through so much self-hate. If anyone can help them, and Cait certainly can, then there is still the power for good in this world. Plus, I find the post that started this thread a bit OTT. Women can have penises. It's ok. There is more in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than is dreamt of in your philosophy.
