I don't know if she "savagely" humiliated the man, but think about this....his salary is 6 figures, or there about's, most spend on average 5000$ on a ring, he spent 1674$ or so, most don't make 6 figures....Some women look at the ring as a measure of the mans love......My opinion, it is small and he probably could have spent more. Sure a ring is just an object but it does represent something as well, and that something is often measured by it's size/value, just as some men value some women by their size/s (.) (.).....lol. It's all in the eye of the beholder I suppose

Yes it's usually 3 months of your yearly take home pay. So he is a cheapo but she did not have to put it on line for all to see. Like others have said, he is lucky not to be married to her and I agree.
