Most women would say childbirth.

I had pseudomembranous colitis, caused by an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

Doctor said I experienced pain equivalent to a women giving child birth.

Hospital filled my large intestine with a white chalky liquid, by forcing it up from my a hole, to help locate the location on x-ray. ( I'm sure they better tech now )

Then they had to give me a strong laxative to make sure the liquid was removed before it hardened.

Could only eat soft tasteless food for a month, AND NO BOOZE, which was the hardest part.

I do not recommend that as a way for men to experience the pain of child birth.

I had an operation on each shoulder, a year apart. Shoulders in severe pain when I lifted my arm, no way I could work with power tools as was my norm. Turns out, the bone in my shoulder was digging into tendons when I raised my arm, not sure, but it might have been waterskiing at an early age.

The surgery did fix it in the long run. But waking from the operation was the most painful thing I ever experienced. Woke up screaming in pain. Both times. The 2nd time a nurse ran over with a shot. She didn’t know another nurse had just given me a shot. I passed out for some hours. They had to wake me and kick me out, the last patient kicked out of day surgery.

Ruptured my Achilles tendon while playing soccer. Then ruptured the other one 3 weeks later. Don't wish that on my worst enemy.

How do you rupture the other Achilles tendon when I'm assuming the first one has already you in cast, moving pretty slowly while on crutches....? :unknw:

Falling down the stairs on crutches is not pleasant. I was playing volleyball and it felt like someone threw a 100 MPH fastball on my right ankle. I screamed saying WTF threw that?.. Same noise and pain on the left one.

I remember when Elvis died. I was in my teens and grew up with friends that idolized him. Always thought that was the worst pain, so many sad faces around me.

Later years I laugh at that pain.
