Worst pain you've ever had.

I just figured out how to use the 'Similar Thread' feature. When I typed in a new thread title, a bunch of similar threads popped up and I found this one. Writing

The top ten most physically painful life experiences

10: JOINT ACHE - Five per cent said aches and pains in their joints were the most painful experience.

9: SUNBURN - Six per cent said this was one of the most painful sensations possible.

8: PERIOD PAIN - Six per cent of those surveyed gave this full marks for pain, including, bizarrely, three per cent of men....

7: MUSCLE CRAMP - Six per cent of those surveyed gave this 10 out of 10 for pain.

6: BACK/NECK PAIN - 11 per cent said this was the worst pain one can experience.

5: ARTHRITIS - 14 per cent said it was the most painful, including nine per cent of men and 19 per cent of women.

4: MIGRAINE - 17 per cent of those surveyed said it was the most painful experience.

3: KICKED IN THE GROIN - Ranked unsurprisingly high by male participants, this unpleasant experience came in third in the poll.

2: BREAKING A BONE - Fractures and breaks came in as the second most painful experience, trailing way behind the number one-ranked life pain.

1: CHILDBIRTH - Perhaps unsurprisingly, the pain of giving birth ranked top. Both women and even men seemed to agree it was the most painful experience.

I was going to complain about this but I figured Robin would just take advantage; and tell me he would kiss it and make it feel better.

Having a baby....oh, no, wait....that wasn't me.

No pains to complain of. Except migraines, but I'm used to them. And sore knees. But I'm used to them. And a broken left toe, but I'm used to that. And....OK, so I have pains to complain of.

When I was sixteen, I dislocated the Patella on my left leg, playing basketball in a school yard. One of the other players had to get on his bicycle, and ride two miles to where my mom worked, to get her to drive over, and take me the 10 miles to the nearest hospital. The kneecap was completely popped out, as if 3/4 of an inch of 'knuckle' was poking out of my knee, under my pant leg.

That part was painful, in and of itself, but what really hurt was when we got to the hospital, and they were taking me out of the hatchback, into a wheelchair. The guy holding that leg missed the foot rest part of the wheelchair, and the leg was bent quite a bit, while the kneecap was still popped out.

On a gurney, an orderly with big Popeye forearms popped the patella back in place, using both thumbs. I thought that was it, and slid my legs across the gurney, preparing to walk away, but they stopped me, and told me I would have to be in a soft cast for six weeks. The length of time between when the accident occurred, and when the patella was popped back in, was about 90 minutes.

That's why I have no sympathy for soccer players who act like they're dying when someone kicks them in the shins, but I have great respect for Bo Jackson, who had his hip dislocated in the injury that ended his NFL career, and he popped the hip back in himself, and took a couple of steps, before realizing that that wasn't a good idea.

A friend of mine topped us both. In a different school yard basketball game, about 25 years later, he tore his Achilles tendon, and walked a mile home like that.

None of the three of us cried.

I tried out for the ski team once, but on my very first run, I got distracted by a chick in tight ski pants and caught an edge. Didn't make the cut that year, and instead went on to pursue an illustrious career as an opiates addict. You can see video of my epic run, and painful gaffe below...

Is THAT who I am?!! Between the epic cerebral contusions, and having left most of my face on the ice covered ski hill, no one has ever been able to positively identify the residual fleshy bag of broken bones formerly known as my body before now. Thanks bobistheowl!

BTW I only give you 3.7 on the fall..................Nowhere near enough rotations to warrant even a 6.0
