What was the worst you have ever been rejected or you have rejected?.

My niece had a bad rejection that my sister told me about and made reminiece of my first one. I had a crush on a senior(me being a junior). After one year of painfully holding on I finally asked her out.

She laughed at my face.

I have a few the come to mind. I'm sure Blissful might enjoy this one.

My first job required me to work in this office with another person whom I'll call Kay. Kay and I were both hired at the same time and worked on a variety of projects together. She was very nice and the more time I spent with her the more I really clicked with her. I flirted mercilessly with Kay and she seemed interested. After about 6 months in the same office I too asked her out. Kay sat with this look of horror on her face as we ate our lunch in the lunch room. It was as if I dropped my pants in front of her. She looked at me straight in the eye and said that she was gay and that she thought I knew. I was devastated because I thought that had to be the worst excuse ever. If she didn't want to go out with me that ok but don't make things like this up. Suffices to say our friendship suffered somewhat after that.

Fast forward to the office xmas party 3 months later and Kay shows up with her girlfriend/partner. And yes she truly was gay. I have to say I would have made a better "butch" for her than the person she was with. :biggrin2:

knowing that she was truly into women must have been healing for your ego at least?

The only time I've been rejected out right was from um....Bob. LOL No hard feeling Bob, I totally understand why and respect you for it.

No rejection ever bothers me because when they do I just say to myself..... "Obviously...." LOL!

I've never been rejected sexually. If you don't ask then you don't get rejected.

I have been rejected a huge amount of times. It was hard in my teens, but now I really couldn't give a rats ass.

If I had a Tooney for everytime I've been rejected I'd be a very rich man today.

Why not use the other hand? Then go back and tell the dominant hand its been replaced!

I'm glad to say since 1990, I've not been rejected, and since 1999 if not in a casual relationship (friend w. benefits) I just see professionals who never reject
Cash Money!

In the past 12 years, I've had 3 very serious relationships, one that I should have persued, but then I checked out HUBGFE and eros and said, "Why have the same meal daily, when there is a buffet of beauty available!"
