If I enjoy a date with someone sometimes I'll blog about it. Albeit discreetly, obviously, and if someone has caused me problems, I'll blog about that as well. Not that it will change how I blog, but I'm interested in knowing some hobbyists views on this. Chime in as well ladies, if you too have something to say about this:)

I would be right chuffed to have someone blog or tweet that they enjoyed a date with me. Discretely of course. The down side would be all the other blokes who did not get a mention may feel a little put out. Of course perhaps it will make them up their game.
Use your powers carefully and wisely ladies!

Good point Beached:). It is not the prowess of a gent that'll get me to blog, it's their generosity, notable advice, or something else that caused them to stand out and likewise with the negativity. It would have to be someone who's deliberately gone out of their way to make trouble or who've had an obvious agenda to earn a blog entry.

I've had one lady who mentions me n tweets all he time. Dinners and gifts even going out to shows or a concert once. Think I even got a mention cause she had a good time. Was very proud to earn a mention. But I've got some criticism recently. Apparently other guys get jealous, or they think the lady is bragging.
I think I'd like to be mentioned more discreetly.

Yes discretion is important, mentioning a good time with someone is nice but mentioning names or handles I think is tmi:)

I think it is a mistake to talk about any encounter and/or client under any circumstances. This is a relationship business and no one wants to hear about you and another guy - good or bad.

I think it is better to keep specific handles and online personas out of any PDAs, but blog entries are interesting reads and I wouldn't stop those, cristy.

Agree.

Christy you may mean well but there are too many that take it too personal and can come back to haunt you.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh gosh, when A SP talks about her experience with a "john", it is disrespectful and tasteless. One of the ladies talked about this specific john often to the point where we finally figured out who he was as she highlighted the main recognizable features. I stick with SPs who are discreet. Look at Ifyouseekamy, you know she will be very discreet. If the handlers talk about her in great details, she often says thank you. That is why she is a classy woman.

How many of you read blogs?.

I never have and doubt i ever will. i have enough in my plate to keep me entertained.

I don't read hooker blogs because I don't want to hear about any working woman's sex capades with numerous customers. Not my thing.

I HATE when hookers talk about other clients in front of me - good or bad. I really think a hooker should focus on the client that she is with and should remain discreet about other clients - even in terms of not blogging about it.

Some professions need tight lips - Doctor, hooker, Passport Office Administration etc.

Cristycurves, I give you permission to blog about me when we have our date! Now, I just have to figure out how to come out and see you! We'll have a code word for your blog so that I know you're talking about me. How about "rosebud"?

It's nice to get thanked whether blog, Twitter or a forum reply to a review. However it does make an awkward situation where some clients are acknowledged and others aren't. Even if you have favorites it's probably better to keep things private.
