Would you rather be a regular Joe or an intelligent John.

This question came up in a conversation over drinks last night. It's a broad subject but one that may be for an interesting debate.

The talk was that most regular Joe's working 9-5, five days a week are happy and comfortable being what they are. Can just chill on the weekends, watch ball games or just do nothing.

The intelligent ones always wants more out of life and puts a strain on their loved ones and himself.

Your take?.

Your take?.

I'd be so intellegent that I would not put strain on my love ones life. Work like a dog initially, settle down, have self sustaining side projects for sustainable income and them spend night and day with the family and friends.

Being a regular Joe is great to, but both put different strains on a love one for different reasons. I agree the love one should not be strained by both Joe and john.
