Ok, just took out my x-mas decorations... Found almost everything, balls are not broken, x-mas tree is awsome, and lights are... A REAL MESS!

Each year, I try something new just to avoid knots in them. One year, I even tried to take the all out, wrapped them individually, and tie the cord so it does'nt mix... I can't manage to do it right!

Last year, I've fold the cords very neet and tied them properly, but they got mixed up between each other! So I have to undo about 300m of mixed cords and light bulbs.

When x-mas is going to be over, guess what...
THEY ARE GOING TO THE SALVATION ARMY!

Outsource the decorating. Makes the holidays so much more enjoyable.

We bought 2 trees with the lights permantly on the them. You can get some really good deals on these kind of trees after the holidays. I hope you holiday season gets better.

That's what we did a few years ago, and it makes a huge difference. We had a nice tree before, but it (like you) was pissing me off with the lights...

I donated the old tree to some needy people... My parents! LOL (Who were still using the artificial tree they bought when I was 5 yrs old! LOL)

We started putting the lights on the tree in such a way that we could take the tree down and apart and leave the lights on the branches. Pretty stress-free. The trees that are pre-lit just don't have enough lights on them for my liking haha

I like the out sourcing idea. Can anyone recommend a good company?
