Can you guys post some links to Toronto charities with less fortunate Families?

Fuck my family....and fuck me! This year, I'm thinking of giving to people who actually need it. I'll give my family members a card and inside there will be a donation of 'X' money.

I want to give $500 to a family that are less fortunate than me. And i suggest you ALL do the same.

Post some links guys. And Thanks!:)

I usually donate to animal shelters and Cancer support over the holidays and throughout the year. Kudos to you for posting this thread!!! Many families touched by Cancer go through difficulties over the holidays - not all medications are covered by OHIP and it can be VERY difficult financially during the holidays.

https://www.dovesofhope.ca/ a charity special to my heart...

St. Vincent De Paul is also known for helping the less fortunate however, I haven't done my research on them and have never donated

The Salvation Army https://www.salvationarmy.ca/ does home visits with food and gifts for less fornutate families and I have seen this first hand.

I don't know of any of the smaller charities who do things over Christmas - I am always worried my donatio is going to admin and not to the people/pets that really need it so I usually try to research the smaller charities without the large overhead.

Good luck with your donation and thank you for being so generous!!!

Hugz, Tristan

I always give to The Salvation Army... They work at the front line of disaster relief, addiction, battered women, homeless, and much more.

And I give to them because they do it for spiritual reasons, not because they are paid to.

Our family has been doing this for the last 5 years... :great:

Instead of buying gifts for the adults in the family, we donate gifts through World Vision...

And you can't go wrong with:

Having said this, we still do gifts for the children...

I give to the Sally Ann.
Also friends who have children and need the help.
I actually help a few through the whole Christmas plus.

Never thought of the animal shelter. New cause.

Yes, they do terrific work with addicts, disaster relief, the homeless, women in trouble and more. I have heard many stories from ladies I represent and others in the 'industry' of the good work they do and have seen first hand how caring they can be.

we probably all know of a person or family who is down on their luck.

give them an anonymous gift. $500 would probably make their holidays.

we all need to feel like someone cares about us this time of year.

Some years ago I founded a charitable group named Canadian Angels Saving Humanity. This organization helps families that are down on their luck.
Please address donations to:

Canadian Angels Saving Humanity
C/O Tourist.

Any legal currency is accepted, however when writing a cheque to Canadian Angles Saving Humanity, please make it payable to our acronym CASH.

Thank you for your support.

For some nothing says the Christmas Season more that trying to kill themselves.
