Year-end cleanup

I'm thinking of sweeping out old discussions, not used for more than 1 year. Anybody have any objections? If there's any discussions that you'd like preserved, just post a message in that thread bumping it up. I think I will do this by Friday of this week. If all of you just tell me there's nothing you want preserved, then just reply here, and I can do this earlier.

In general I agree, but we should retain review threads for posterity if that is possible.

I agree with Ryan as keeping reviews is like an archive of information, some of which you can't retrace or recreate. Could come in handy when girls retire and then come back, with or without their original names, and you need some background info. It's like my text, as some is just jibber jabber, so I delete it, but keep the part of some text to and from girls that contain important info.

Doing a quick survey of the oldest threads, I'd say at least 80%+ of the threads are actually review threads of some kind. It's actually harder to find a purely non-review thread, so deleting just those threads won't really make much difference. For example, our very first ever monthly review thread was called "October 2013".

I'll let you know that there wasn't any requirement to do it, we haven't run into any space limitations or anything, I just thought we'd do it to make the discussions easier to find in here, but if people want to keep old threads for historical purposes, I don't mind that either. I know that Ryan and Paul are leaning towards keeping them, while Mmad and Skinflute are leaning towards deleting them. Based on this additional info, does anybody want to change their vote?

I can't tell you how many times the old archived reviews on T erb have helped me with research, even if several years old. That said...as far as I can tell there is no way to seach within the Group, there is a search button but it never seems to return any results (is indexing the group a mod function Blackram?). So I have have started using the name in the title of the thread so we can pick out the reviews, you are right - "October 2013" is not a useful review thread since it is not searchable. If we invite new members this is going to become more and more acute. Can I suggest all review threads have the the word Review and the provider's name or place in the subject line? Other threads that are just discussion and banter could be fine for deleting over time since they go stale, but I like the idea of keeping reviews. Now if we could figure out Search we would be golden! I guess the challenge is a thread can start out as a sicussion (Ixchel comes to mind) and then turns into a review, I think those should stay also.

No, I have no ability to index the threads, I just think these features simply don't exist within the private groups, which are basically just glorified PM inboxes for multiple users.

Why don 't we post our reviews in the Ottawa section and generate some traffic. Hmmmmmm

I don't think we could post anything publicly close to the detail that is on this forum. Talking about reviews, I saw Annie on Gladstone after a long break. Not at all like I remember, she was quite sexy and liberal. I enjoyed a nice hj but I suspect there may be a broader menu to someone that was interested. The door fee for 60 mins was $65 and I gave her another $60. Lots of roaming hands with no objection, in fact she used alcohol wipes on my hands in anticipation of where my roaming hands might end up.:wink2:

That's understood, we cannot go into full blown (pardon the pun) details publicly however in this area we can share the juicy details provided they are not fiction.
