Do you guys remember when the first solar powered calculators came out??!
They wouldnt work on a cloudy day........LOL, it had to be bright and sunny out :tongue:

Might I add too that if you did get a girl pregnant? Your parents made you marry her and take care of the kid.....

And speaking of watches, my LED had a black face with red numbers......does anyone remember the first LCD watches? If you let the sun hit the face too long the screen would go completely black......
 
yup ... speaking of technology coming into play... my old car had the first automated headlight shut off system.

as soon as the battery went dead the headlights shut off

I remember Bing Crosby doing an interview with Barb Walters and how he'd throw his son out of the house if he had a child out of wedlock.

I had one with display button in the center of the case, you got a little arm with it to attach and when you tilted your wrist up the arm would push the button in and light the display.

That was the mis seventies s I reckon
