I was making $2 per hour back then so money was a concern. Took her to Ontario place and as my father once told me. Let her talk all she wants and never interrupt.

It worked and got laid after my second date.

She took me to the movies and also paid for lunch. We are still good friends.

Walk in the park and a coffee, took her home and was a perfect gentleman.
On the second date she was all over me.(oh what a summer it was)
Now I still let them make the first move but, for a different reason, given the current environment.
Don't know if you watch Workn Moms with Ian the single father in the play group.
He goes out with a woman after talking to the other moms and is asking for permission to touch or kiss.(pretty funny)

My first date ever I was 16, I took this girl to a horror movie (her choice), the Fog... the original... Beth, I think her name was, brought another girl (her BFF) along with her I think as a chaperone or something like that (she had trust issues). I thought cool... a threesome for a first date... didn't happen. Beware the Fog. Anyway, the two girls spend most of the movie screaming, and hiding on the floor of the theatre, peeking over the edge of the seat back in front of them to see what was going on. I found it hilarious, both the rather corny film and the girls reaction to it. Apparently horror films are supposed to make the girl want to get close to her brave strong date... didn't happen... the two comforted each other.

I recall waiting in the cold for the buses for what seemed forever, to go home as the snow was gently falling. My second date with her was about 6 months later... the relationship never went anywhere.
