Absolutely enjoyed this political/thriller, film. Its based on the CIA's hunt and killing of Bin Laden. What was a pleasant surprise was that it did not have any typical "american jingoism". Not sure how much was fictitious, but enjoyable none the less, time flew by.

SPOILER ALERT!: funniest line was "Osama?...., Osama?..."

I would rate it 8.5/10

It only took 10 years, billions of dollars and how many dead soldiers to get one man! Sorry not interested!

I saw it and enjoyed it. Watch for the symbolism through out the film. Keep in mind the events have been dramatized for the film and are not %100 accurate. I love Jessica Chastain her performance is worthy of the Oscar nom and her best quote of the movie "I'm the motherfucker who found this place, sir!". 4/5 stars.

It took Obama because Bush couldn`t get the job done!

The CIA and secret service investigators and special forces deserve all the credit for their hard work and dedication in tracking and taking out Bin Laden. It had nothing to do with either President Bush or President Obama.

I saw the movie on the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great story, that showed the inner workings of the intelligence agency and their effort to locate Osama Bin Laden after the 911 attacks. I would give it 2 thumbs up.

So they're the guilty ones for taking so long! That makes sense except for special forces.

Are there any sex scenes with Jessica Chastain in them? If not, I'll pass.:biggrin2:

I haven't watched it yet but I plan too. I wouldn't believe everything you see in the movie, they do add more drama to spice it up I'm sure.

Only the President can authorize such a raid and Obama gave the go.

But it was the special forces that conducted the raid and the CIA that went through the painstaking process of collecting the evidence during all those years. Saying go ahead with the raid was the easiest part of the whole thing, as the others did all the heavy lifting. If Bush or any other president was in the White House and presented with the evidence, I am sure that they would also say go ahead.

No KR, that is not necessarily true. The people around Obama, many were against the raid. Biden was against going in, Obama made the final call.

Bush after what happened with the information given to him by intelligence in regards to weapons of mass destruction in Iraq I feel would have erred on the side of caution and probably have not given the order to go through with the operation.

It is usually the busy working bees that do all the leg work but I will give credit to the prez for having the cahonies to give the order to go in. If the US soldiers had perished in the assault or if the information had been wrong it would have been a disaster in the following election.

I did watch the movie and I enjoyed it. Jessica's character was tenacious and I would love to know how much of her portrayal was Hollywood and how much of it was real?
