I have installed PTZ cams with up to 80x zoom and at a mile you can see hard nipples under a bikini top on a beach.
Not positive you can make out facial details :biggrin2:

and yes 80x is a gross under statement of the actual power

No worries I have a 1000mm as my largest lens......................Will not compensate for the curvature of the earth. That is the true problem with ground mounted optics

I have a couple of 1,000mms floating around for my Nikons, but I also use a 16-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope that does pretty good...
