She going to hell?.

Police are asking the public for help in their search for a female suspect two months after a cancer charity donation box was reported stolen from a restaurant in Richmond Hill.

In a surveillance video filmed on March 25 and released on YouTube Thursday, the suspect is seen ordering food before taking off with the donation box. Police say the suspect walked back to her table with the box once the employees had their backs turned, and later concealed it in a bag.

The box was full of cash intended for prostate cancer research, police said.

Authorities released the video after they were unable to identify the suspect.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact police at 1-88-876-5423, ext. 7241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

She surrendered.

A 63-year-old woman is accused of stealing a cancer donation box from a Richmond Hill restaurant counter two months ago. York Regional Police released a surveillance video to the public Thursday of the March 25 theft at Hero Burger on Yonge St., south of Major Mackenzie Dr. A woman surrendered to police barely 24 hours later.

We can judge and by no means am I in any way trying to defend her criminal actions but we must also ask what desperation has brought her down to this form of theft?

Sociopath tendencies.

Sociopath tendencies.

Perhaps but it also maybe an empty fridge, a hungry family, utilities about to be cut off, a payment for a medical procedure not covered by OHIP for herself or a loved one. I'm all about law and order and she has been charged but the punishment should take into consideration the reason for the theft.
