TORONTO - Did you witness this fight? If so, we want to hear from you. Email Toronto Sun reporter Jenny Yuen at [email protected] or call the city desk at 416-947-2211
Police are looking for plate-slinging patron after a brawl broke out at a Chinatown restaurant over the weekend.
The fight — caught on video and uploaded to YouTube — apparently started over seating space at the crowded Pho Xe Lua, a Vietnamese eatery at Spadina Ave. and Dundas St., around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

At least a half-dozen patrons, some dressed in Halloween costumes, were involved in the tussle. A plate was launched into the air and a restaurant employee was struck in the head.
“During the altercation, a woman in her 20s was struck in the face and sustained injuries which required medical attention.” Toronto Police said in a release.

The profanity-laced video has gone viral and had more than 250,000 pageviews Monday morning.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, between 20 and 25 years old. He stands roughly 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 and has a muscular build with multi-coloured tattoos on his left bicep. He was clean-shaven, with short black hair, which was shaved on both sides.

He was wearing a “SWAT” costume vest with holster, tight black v-neck T-shirt and black pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), online at 222tips.com or by texting TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).

No respect for women !

If I am her brother or husband, will find the prick and show deal with him with my own hands.

That was caused by a bait and switch of the meals! He ordered chicken balls and got cat balls instead.

What a bunch of dumb bastards.

Is this supposed to be funny?

Cat meat is no laughing matter.

I used to go to Xe Lua all the time. Either there or Gold Stone(?) a few doors away. Good times.

It's a smartass sarcastic remark and if it offends you that's on you, don't take everything so literal.

Oh God tell me is pulling a fast one over us.

I wonder if his friends told him he was a jerk to do that and hope he learned a lesson how not to treat women.

Where is Peace when you need him?

Seriously, throwing a plate at a girl? Dude's a f@cking coward.

Oh shitt! I eat at that place occasionally. Great pho and spring roll(best in Toronto..nice and thick).
tHE guy who threw the plate at the female "mediator"is a total loser and coward. Personally he s just another lame dickwit!
Poor girl who was trying to stop a fight. FOr her reward, she got hit in a face with a place thrown by the same lame dickwit! I wonder why kind of injurires she sustained from it.

This is why today's many people refuse to get involved when there's a fight between 2 or more people. ANyone can get hurt including the innocent bystanders who became curious regarding the conflict.

THere is another xe lua that is more quiet and friendly and its on broadview and gerrard.

A display of a situation that was allowed to escalate and no where to be seen a Police officer being called in. If the manager of the restaurant did not call 911 they should be held responsible.
