OK, I've done my 868 patrol after work today, and what a fucking dive it is, haven't been there for probably 20 yrs and looks exactly the same. So I go to the door, ring the bell, and an older Asian lets me in, she wasn't too bad looking and while not slim, not a fatso....sorry I mean not fashionably overweight. Never once smiled and I said I was just dropping in to see if a girl called Coco worked there, as a friend had seen her in another city and was interested to see her again.

This woman said very coldly, no she not here now, at the doctor and will work tonight. She then said, what you want and motioned me into a dingy dark room, the same one I used 15 yrs ago and looks no different. She again asked what I want, massage?. I said no I can't stay now but if I came back I'd want more. Once she knew I wasn't staying she immediately walked me out to the door and again no smile or goodbye and I was gone.

Yes in my view at least, and I realize most Asian spas...massage joints actually, are rarely high end, unless they're renting a nice condo like some do for the touring agencies. The building itself is very run down, so I guess no point in them spending money on a place that's a dump everywhere else. If anyone goes bring a light bulb with you, some Lysol spray and Purell if full service means that much. Wish I could have seen what this Coco looked like, just out of curiosity

Not even a smile is right, as most Asians are very friendly and cheerful, even if it's not genuine, but they know how to make money. I'd take Julia's place any day compared to 868, and her place sure isn't classy but at least its clean with a clean white cover on the table and you get a smile when you walk in and even if you walk out, they still are pleasant.
