From the several tweets I received after my announcement, I felt I needed to clarify something.

At the end of the day, do what makes the most sense for you. I can understand clients leaving because their preconceived notions of you were destroyed. This hobby is based on fantasy after all, and most of the fantasy is in our heads. I've left regs before too, when I found out more about them. In my case, it wasn't my preconceived notions, but rather they did something I did not feel was safe or healthy and I felt I could no longer see them because of it.

From my perspective, I'd rather you don't do something that you may regret down the road.

I want to thank everyone who had anything to say at all about the book A SECRET CHARM, bad or good. Your input is invaluable and appreciated! However, all the positive input I've had about how "hot" the book is and why has been private. It seems that publicly people aren't comfortable sharing their arousal. Unfortunately because of the nature of the book for me to share my sexual experiences I really need the sort of reassurances I'm not getting. My sexuality is not casual at all to me and my experiences are not flippant. I was fine sharing them when I felt everyone would LOVE THEM but once I realized 3% of people wouldn't be happy at all and 97% not really excited the way I expected, yes...it fizzles my motivation. I will be certain to return every cent as is my character. If in the future it seems the sexuality itself (which obviously would have progressed and intensified) might be more exciting to readers I'll consider finishing the book. But right now the 3% is enough to squelch me when I don't have that other 97% really turned on. I hope this makes sense. Luv ya'll!

I don't understand why you should worry about the negative 3%. I say continue doing what you love and keep on writing.
