I went to the gas station to put on gas. Had $70, bought smokes and said WTF, here take $55 and prepaid for my gas. At $45 it stopped, went to bitch about it and he said no you only gave me $45. After long arguments he finally gave in.

So, get a receipt with anything you buy.

There was a time that people would risk their lives in duels to keep their names clean from claims of dishonesty. Now....a large portion of the population thinks lying and getting away with it is the badge of honor.

In the hobby industry, lieing is the norm, not the exception. It amazes me how easily some SPs lie to me when I am with them. Even when I call them out on obvious lies, they double-down.

AmEx remains the card I use the most, as their customer service has always been solid for me. Never any arguments, great support in other countries, and worth the fees for me. Your mileage may vary.

I cut up my AmEx card. I decided the services did not justify the fees.
