Ask the Doctor thread

So it finally comes out, The Cardinal is a switch hitter and occasionally bats for the other team?

The Cardinal is the type of man who would never refuse to lend a hand to a friend in need.

Doc what cream do you put on your dick that is dry and itchy?.

To start with, let's assume the itch is from the dry skin and not some other reason, as it's the most likely and easiest to treat. The cream I've seen used successfully is Gold Bond Ultimate (available in any pharmacy in the moisturizer section), but any moisturizing cream is a good start (even something as routine as Vaseline Intensive Care). Apply over the whole penis, not too much, so it gets absorbed in to the skin. If after 7-10 days the itching has not eased off, it may be time to see a doctor and get checked for a skin problem which would need a prescription cream. Good luck!

I've heard Gold Bond is the best, and Penaten diaper rash cream is good too.

Tiger balm!

Years ago, someone gave my ex (#1) a tin of that stuff and he asked me to give him a shoulder massage using it. Neither of us had heard of it before so I apply it liberally to his back and it's all over my hands ... only took a few minutes before we both ran screaming for the bathroom to wash it off!!

I've had more than a few people "accidentally" apply Absorbine, Bengay, etc...then they try to wash it off with water which makes it even worse.

I would think you would have enough sense to go and visit your family doctor. You may have contracted an STI and waiting will only make things worse.
