We all had those moments when we realize something that we always wanted or wanted to create does exist. So, what do you wish you came up with it first?.

Personally I would have loved to invent the internet. That and stainless steel.

I've had a few of those moments. Thought of a great idea, didn't know how to get it off the ground then a few years later see someone is making millions off it....

I've got a couple of ideas in the fire now, just trying to figure out how to get rolling with them.....

May I suggest https://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/ Worse case scenario they send you packing and you leave with some great exposure. On the other hand can you imagine the "ching" "ching" if one of the dragons likes your idea.

I keep missing the deadlines....

I tell you, one of these ideas of mine? It could change the way traffic patterns work everywhere in the world.......seriously.

Go for it, get on the show if you think you have something. You have nothing to lose, cheapest way to get to market. Look how many have been sent packing only to make it big because of the show.

The Speculum...stainless steel variety. Damn it I'd be a rich bastard. They are in practically every porn film :arf:

OK, I can tell you one thing I DID think of years before because after searching the net a bunch of sites are selling them:

Condom cases.

Little cases that hold 1 or 2 condoms securely in your pocket or purse and are discrete. I even designed one as a key chain. Most I saw online are kind of cheesy chinese plastic ones but there were a few that were gold plated, or high gloss black that were quite nice.

I had this idea back in the mid 90's long before I ever saw them........one of the reasons I didn't proceed was the molds run into the $20 to $30,000.00 range and I couldn't find an injector who would make a prototype for a reasonable cost. At the very least I could approach the various condom companies for using it as a promo item inside the box of condoms.

A very good idea. I have not seen anything close to that. Go ahead and approach them, you have nothing to lose.

It's a very expensive under taking to bring a product to market. It's very risky and I do believe a reality show would help to market the product to the masses in a cost effective manner.

I wet myself thinking of being the creator of Google.

^^^^ don't I know it....just to make a prototype of ONE style the mould was going to cost me upwards of $20,000.00. And that's just to make 1 to show people to try and sell. If they wanted ANY change, that's another $20,000.00.

Yep, that is the way manufacturing and break even cost analysis works. The first one cost $20,000, the 20,000th one cost $1. Sucks, that is why I have not tried to manufacture anything.

Yeah, I've done that when I used to design store fixtures for retail. Especially when you have to make a mould. Even vac forming can get pricey. I ended up making some myself (vac moulds) for the first couple of prototypes.
