no, not french quebecois thinking they own the country, only a select few who think they have special rights over everyone else. When I dated a woman who was born in a small town outside of quebec city, and we'd go there to visit, I was always treated with the utmost respect by her family, friends, neighbours and the guy who ran the variety store across the street. I'm talking die hard no english frenchies here.....the ONLY time I ran into a problem was on via rail when the porter started giving me lip in french.......my gf translated and I got up, went to him, and said "you ever fucking insult me like that again, I'll not only have your job, I'll throw you off this fucking train".....
There are people there who think like this idiot and don't realize just how bad they make themselves look. But on the other side of the coin, hatred of quebec and french goes a long way back. All through my childhood my father harped on quebec and when I started dating this young lady, I took him aside and said "keep your mouth shut with your bigotry".......
These types can't help but remind me of so many black people who harp on and on about the slave trade in the US....even up here...forgetting that thousands of white people risked life and limb to get them out of slavery.....and frankly, no one in my family has ever owned, dealt in, or had a slave, so why hold ME responsible for something that happened a couple of hundred years ago?
The problem with this guy is that he's such an idiot, what he's proposing (speak french) is exactly the same issue that he's against: the rest of the country wanting him to speak english........
the best in the world? where do YOU live lol....you don't think what happened in the US couldn't happen here? give your head a shake...the same mentality that runs the US banks run ours here......our banks here wouldn't hesitate for 1 millisecond to re-possess your house if you were late with your payments.......

I found it funny how both the guy and the chick were harping on "speak french" yet when she was harping on the camera guy he was saying "I speak french but it's hard for me when you're speaking to me in english...." lol.....talk about hypocrite.......
