Bank of America’s mortgage servicing unit systematically lied to homeowners, fraudulently denied loan modifications, and paid their staff bonuses for deliberately pushing people into foreclosure:

Yes, these allegations were suspected by any homeowner who ever had to deal with the bank to try to get a loan modification – but now they come from six former employees and one contractor, whose
sworn statements were added last week to a civil lawsuit filed in federal court in Massachusetts.

I fail to see how the current President would be responsible for something that came crashing down the year he was elected. Blame him for being in bed with Big Content, for removing US citizens right to privacy, through PRISM and surveilance drones, for maintaining the limitations to Habeus Corpus started with the previous administration, but this... check your history. The deregulation started as early as Reagan, so both sides, GOP and Dem, are responsible for reigning in bad behaviour, and then failing to punish that bad behaviour.

I'm glad people are finding an ethical backbone to stand up and say something. We need more whistleblowers, in both US and Canada.

Here lies a smart man talking.

I agree in Companies Whistle Blowing, the welfare of the people.

But when it comes down to National Defense and Secrets
that another whole ball game......

A former insider at the World Bank, ex-Senior Counsel Karen Hudes, says the global financial system is dominated by a small group of corrupt, power-hungry figures centered around the privately owned U.S. Federal Reserve. The network has seized control of the media to cover up its crimes, too, she explained. In an interview withThe New American, Hudes said that when she tried to blow the whistle on multiple problems at the World Bank, she was fired for her efforts. Now, along with a network of fellow whistleblowers, Hudes is determined to expose and end the corruption. And she is confident of success.
