My first husband was convinced to start going to church when one of his friends told him how friendly the women are, and how they go around hugging everybody.

I attended as a child because my parents FORCED me to go and MADE me go to vacation bible school too. As an adult, I voluntarily chose to attend church for over 25 years. During that time I volunteered countless hours in every department in the church and eventually ended up working there for several years.

When I got divorced, I let my ex keep the church and I moved on. I decided that 25 years of getting preached at is enough, so I quit going and have spent the years since then trying to put everything I learned into practice in the real world.

Not too long ago my friend told me about this prosperity minister named Joel Osteen. By chance I later caught a couple interviews that Katie Couric and Oprah Winfrey did with him. Now I've been manipulated through "mind control" into going to his church every Sunday morning on Global TV at 10am. I've tuned in 4 Sundays in a row now. raying: I'm either addicted to this man or simply I have been brainwashed like several years back with "The Secret" and it's law of attraction. LOL
