Deep down inside I wish they (the restaurant) would have taken the kids out back and smacked them. Wait....no. They should have taken the parents out back and SMACKED THEM.


Our Family Ritual Everytime we Left the House:
I remember as a child being sat down by my father with my brother as he described to us that we would be going out. He then proceeded to tell us in no uncertain terms what he expected from the both of us. Just to make sure we understood he would throw in a threat of physical violence to make his point. My father was all about pride. Never embarrass the family he would tell me. The point was made and my brother and I never fell out of line. It was a VERY harsh way to make a point and one my brother never has repeated with his children and his children are incredibly well behaved in public.

My parents wouldn't have none of that. They taught us from a young age not only to respect yourself but others. Those kids are going to have problems when they get older.
