Don't know if it affects any of you. It doesn't affect me, except for the pure gossipy pleasure. :biggrin2:

Online cheaters exposed after hackers access AshleyMadison hookup site - The Washington Post

I never used AM. I am not married & I think it is a douchebag site run by a total douchebag.

I never bothered, apparently the ads are fake and they hire people to respond to those who are interested.

Obviously of no interest to me either, and I also had heard they hire people to respond, much like Lava Life dating site got caught doing.
While most using sites like AM, would use a fake name, the fact that the credit cards which would have their real name, also got hacked sure would be concerning for some if it could be linked to their profile. If you were someone famous or well known by your real name, you'd be VERY concerned. I'm sure AM are wondering how to deal with this, including whether to ignore the hackers demands and hope their bluffing. If the data gets exposed you can be sure their membership will drop like a stone.

A friend of mine joined once, then he found out that the membership costs something like $200 for just 3 months! I lost interest in ever joining it, after hearing that too.

$200 for only 3 months...I'd sure want a good return on my investment for that kind of membership fee. I sometimes wondered if it's any more successful than people who join POF which quite a few people, male and female that I know who use it and say it's great. Jas was even on there at one time.

I think we should all buy shares in toilet paper companies, as there's going to be millions of people who'll be using a LOT more of it soon, if they aren't already!!!
