I really think that this "board-er war" is beyond stupid, and I think it's petty to visit one review board simply to trash another. I understand there's a competitive aspect to it, and everyone has their own tolerance levels for bullshit... but that's why there are different boards with different rules.

There are a couple of boards I enjoy, some that I visit occasionally, and others that I avoid like the plague... but I think it's really immature to bash one board from the safety of another.

Just my $0.02, but can't we just agree that what happens on ______, stays on ______? :???:

Where do you see another board being trashed here?. Some of these guys are having fun with other members from another board not another board. So what is it that you call stupid? Get your facts straight before you post.

I rarely agree with demien, but in this instance, he's bang on - in one area only.

Cycleguy really should just have a little dignity & self-respect and forget ****. So you're banned? Move on. Or do what everyone else seems to do - sign up with another handle and lurk around until you can post without arousing too much suspicion.

To bring his grievances and b.s. about his treatment on **** - to a competitor's that is still establishing itself, no less - is both childish and self-serving. It lowers the dialogue here and is a disservice to the board owners that have worked hard to build HUBGFE up.

Leave the drama with the other board over there. I.e., the current thread and CG's postings on .


As for the personal shots demien took at cycleguy - completely idiotic and unnecessary. It's beneath contempt and is the stuff of the "other" other board - you know, the "unregistered" one.

Demien, your shit stinks just as much as anyone else's and your posts can also be taken as boastful, over-compensating and phony, so please feel free to climb down off that high horse anytime. Glass houses and all that stuff...

Simple solution: if you don't like the posts and the author, skip over them or laugh AT the poster.

Not my style to jump in with both feet until I get the lay of the land and earn my stripes. Respect is gained through insight and thoughtful comments over time, not posting by volume or trying to show off to the other kids.

When you were first banned, everyone was up in arms, now that your personna has faded, people have forgotton about you and the place is more enjoyable. The fact that you have to comment on absolutely everything just wears on people, we all know someone who knows everything about everything, and you remind us of him. You have your posse that will defend you until the end, but there are many more who won't comment because the posse will jump all over them.

And by commenting about the other board on here is a complete disrespect for the owners of this board, and very childish, it's like saying you'd rather be over there but you can't.

As for this board not having the BS of the other board, that's because it is a new board and as the membership grows, so will the hostility among its members, it's only human nature.

I had to do a double take, thought I logged on to the wrong site :shock:. All POV vary, some are harsh, some are civil and others really stupid. Bunch of men acting like they know it all. Ok I am leaving have fun dudes.

I don't mind CG's posts at all. He tends to stay in the lobby or the other boards lounge. These areas I thought were created to discuss anything that pops into ones mind, as trivial as the thought might be. He doesn't invade the incall or outcall sections and cause any drama in those forums.

I usually skip read through the lobby posts and read the ones of interest too me. I tend to pay more attention in the incall section when a review comes in, especially if is about a lady I am curious of. For that reason, I really don't see why an issue would be created over a poster that pitches his tent in the lobby.

This board needs more members not less, so I don't see why anyone should be excluded if they are not harming anyone.

I also don't mind CG's posts, the guy is fun and keeps the lobby hoping. Like Rayden said those that don't like his posts don't read them and move on. There are some handles in the in call section where I park my ass most of the time that I don't care for so I just ignore their posts.

Its part of life, not everyone is going to like others or get along with each other. Who cares just enjoy the lobby for what it is. A section where we can all say what's in our mind as stupid as it may be. Keep the hatred and insults for other boards guys I like it here.

I'm also a carry-over from the other board. I didn't mind CG's posts there, I don't mind his posts here. Yes he does post a lot, but they're mostly entertaining and always harmless. If you don't care for his posts (or any person's post) don't read them or put them on ignore. If you chose to read their posts and get all inflamed about it, it's your own fault at that point.

I'm a realist. I don't deny I have a big ego. It goes well with my big intellect, big opinions, and big bank account and I like it just fine. I also have a very low threshold for bullshit, so I call when I see it, like I did in this thread. In simple terms: I'm frankly fed up of the CG Circus and the attention whoring that seems to go along with it on all boards. Using Ignore Button? Fuckin' A' - Done deal.

In terms of your posting, you haven't posted anything, but you can be sure we'll all be waiting breathlessly for that miracle of days when you finally do get your bearings and amaze us all with your voluminous insights and reviews. <wink>

My POV may not be the only one, but I'm pretty damn sure there are lots of less outgoing members here and on other forums who share it privately, but are too intimidated to call out. Fact is, I'm not a guy who can be intimidated, so there it is. Time will tell, but as I said before, long term thinking about the nature and success of this board won't be based solely on volume of members, but on the tempo and tone the administrators set, as well as the leeway they extend to some of the characters on here, me included. The other board is a clear example of putting up with shit longer than was necessary before taking action. With such a fresh and crisp example staring them in the face, will be interesting to see how far the CG Circus is allowed to continue...

Demien: There are many people who make valuable contributions to this board who don't post reviews; yet, they contribute to the overall feeling of community. If you don't wish to see a particular poster's comments, simply put them on ignore. However, if YOU single out a particular poster as someone that you find annoying, you are leveling an attack on them personally, which this board doesn't condone.

CG and Demien are both contributors to the success of HUBGFE if one doesn't like the other it is not our concern but we will continue to moderate all threats and post and will take proper action if needed.
