75-year-old indicted 12 felony charges for Mesa massage incall

If convicted, the potential of decades in prison could be more than for 2nd-degree murder.

All in private consenting adults. There is at least one other indicted that haven't yet been found and arrested. Charges include criminal enterprise, keeping a house of prostitution, conspiracy, 2 counts money laundering, 2 counts pandering 2 counts receiving earnings of prostitution, transportation for purpose of prostitution (hired an Uber to bring one of the women to condo) as well as two marijuana-related felonies.

As reported by ABC15 on 4/18/2017, the investigation began in June 2016 involving a condo near Rio Salado Parkway and Dobson in Mesa.

Surveillance of the property also allegedly showed multiple men and women coming to and from the condo in 30 and 60-minute increments. Police say inside the condo were massage tables in two bedrooms.

Upon his arrest on April 12, xxxxx reportedly told police that he placed the ads and rented the condo, "so his female friends could perform massages at that location." He allegedly went on to describe 'massage' as various types of sex acts. (Dave notes he probably was confronted with statements from customers that were trafficked stopped after leaving and often a female undercover that tried to work for him as in most massage related or agency investigations).

He also reportedly named seven adult women that were working at his condo, saying he would get $60 a day per girl for one customer and $100 a day per girl for more than one.

Just unbelievable that anyone thinks that consensual sex is as criminal as murder. What era are we living in!! This angers me so..... so much wasted tax money and time, imagine this guy sitting next to someone in jail, that hunted down and murder people.....

Whatever happened to Yannick, Les Filles de Monsieur Jacques, and the Canbest board? That was a different online world, to be sure.

And this is just one of about 100 defendants in felony cases I have followed that have been in the last about two years. Many massage busts, the 38 women in the Phoenix Goddess Temple which was in Court for almost 5-years before all either took felony pleas or the owner went to prison who lost at trial. We have the Studio case whose owner was just found guilty at trial after all the workers pled to felonies. If plea they get probation instead of prison if found guilty at trial. Even worse is the workers do not have to be found guilty of prostitution only for association with the "criminal enterprise." The Goddess Temple women was given what we call a "Donald Advisement" where the judge tells her if she doesn't take a plea she could face 40 years in prison. Now that is not likely because the judge can run all the counts concurrently instead of consecutively. The minimum mandatory sentence for the most serious felony was 4.5 years which is what she was sentenced to. She had already been in jail 2 years pending trial since she couldn't raise $100,000 bail. She lived with a vow of poverty and had virtually no assets nor rich friends. Eventually, bail was dropped to $20,000 and boyfriend and another were able to pledge enough assets with value to raise the bail When released she has to wear an ankle monitor. Dennis Huf that owns all the Nevada brothels was a witness saying there asking for donations at the end of the session of whatever they wanted to donate was not the "fee arrangement" required under the AZ law. Huf said this was no way to run a brothel. Another witness was the founder of the Institute of Advanced Sexuality in San Fran. He testified the Navy contracts with him to provide prostitutes for the sailors at sea via Isreal. Isn't this unfair the military can be supplied prostitutes while in the Phoenix Temple they can not do Tantra and other religious based sexuality.

All over the U.S. similar situation. Major forums that help keep gals save like Redbook and other go down. On the local board for Phoenix shut down with new law that it is a crime to promote, or assist a prostitute which could include allowing ads and reviews. The only hope is the ESPLER case at the 9th circuit will great attorneys. I have read all the briefs which are outstanding in my non-legal view.It filed about a year ago and now waiting to see if oral arguments will be requested. There have been about 12 friend of the court briefs arguing against us - that the prostitution law provides a compelling interest to protect the community etc. So we have no idea how the case will rule. Whichever side wins it may then go to the Supreme Court

Quite a few of the Asian parlors have been busted and many of the workers who take felony pleas will probably be kicked out of the U.S. by our ICE.

Yep, I found Montreal too difficult since I don't speak French after the Montreal Trip I also had tried Victoria and Vancover B.C. However, Toronto had all the option I enjoy with full contact strip clubs, nude-reverse body rubs and zillions of escort choices outcall and now incall at my price limit of $US200/hr

This is incredible and this is regarded as the land of the free, what a joke.

If Trump really wanted to make a difference he'd address this injustice.

All I can say is wow. I'm glad to be Canadian, to an extent. I'll not understand how any judge can rest or have piece of mind giving out such sentences.

The hypocrisy is he probably has a sugar baby on the side. It sickens me the state criminalizes consenting adults.

For those that sometimes get the urge in Vegas the green board has undergone some major changes and some indies really don't advertise like they did before
I even know one Asian agency that folded up its tent and left town
seems to me that the politicians are really trying to change the landscape
Sad to see indeed

Sadly it is not really up to the Judge. If the jury convicts, you must sentence to at least the minimum under mandatory sentencing many States have including AZ. The judge can decide on concurrent or consecutive on the many counts. Most sex-related felonies have a minimum of 4.5 years in prison. But if go consecutive and have like 5 counts with the recommended sentence of 10 years (not the minimum) that quickly gets to 40 years if the judge decided on consecutive terms at sentencing.

There was a case where someone almost killed at least 12 escorts by choke holds in Phoenix and all were too scared to report to police until I stepped up and found a very friendly Sgt Bruce, head of Scottsdale sex unit. Escort victims trusted me and him to come forward, went to trial, found guilty and judge sentenced to consecutive terms for the various counts. The result was a prison term of about 120 years.

^ I didn't know that, thank you for the explanation. I think Canada will go the way of the Americans soon. I sadly don't foresee an across the board legalization here again, nor even a decriminalization.

It's terrible to know that. That it happens. I'll tell you, a friend of mine is in jail, too, only in California. All because of some drunk guy who molested his girlfriend. And he went to jail for aggravated assault. Because he filed a report against him and got three years in prison. They wouldn't even tell me what prison he was in, but thank God they told me I could find him California Inmate Search | CDCR Inmate Lookup | CA Inmate Locator. At least I can see him until he is released. So before you do anything, think twice.
