If no one knows who you are, you can review and comment honestly, including negative experiences. That's the purpose of a review board. But if you walk into Happy Jerk Spa and the girls yell "RAWD!", are you really going to be comfortable saying that their hot new MPA gave you a friction burn from her hairy legs?

When I started paying for penis fun, privacy was paramount. Very few people disclosed their handles when they hobbied. Hell, industry parties were small gatherings. Now we wear nametags for chrissakes and spas give discounts if you tell them you're a forum member? Industry parties and the boards now exist to promote business (advertising dollars).

You always had to read between the lines of review posts to understand the subtle hints of what was really being said. But even that is pointless now. The best and most reliable information is exchanged in private messages.

Even if you don't mention you're a board member or the boards period, a review may reveal your identity if two and two are put together.
