I just received the fax that prostitution is now illegal and as of Dec. 6 I must begin sting operation nicknamed "To Catch a HUBGFEerite" in Gotham City. Question is should I use Batgirl, Catwoman or dress Papasmerf and Guido in drag to catch you perverted mofos?

So it did happen, now what?

Sites will be shutting down?.

Did you mean Bill C-36? "Bill 36C" is the one about pre-op transsexuals.

There, I've said it.

Why, are you afraid of Robin sweeping down on you? Don't worry, he is nothing without Batman!:yahoo:

The man wears many hats. I just found a picture of him, unmasked, in his 'day job'. If you want to see it, click here.

Sperman by day and Robintheboywonder by night?? :SayWhat?:

He resembles Tom Cruise facially - might be able to get $65 per hour. :wink2:

I typo'd and missed the u in Superman, but Sperman seems fitting somehow. Hmmmmmm

Good of you to add the footnote at the end. Had you not, papasmerf would have jumped on it. He doesn't get jokes any deeper than that.

Can someone please explain what our legal rights now.

Thanks in advance.

Good question, and one that's not easy to answer. Having read the actual bill, I can see so many loopholes, that someone will eventually challenge the bill. Civil liberty groups should do this, but I doubt they will due to the connotations of sex involved.

Civil liberties groups are already involved, the Ontario Civil Liberties Association is giving Terri Jean Bedford an award for her work and they're supporting the continuing battle.
Petition Premier Wynn to get the new law considered by the Supreme Court.

Indeed, but the civil liberties groups need to bring direct challenges, not just support otheres doing the work, IMHO. The more complaining from "mainstream" groups, the better.

I totally agree, the main stream has been to worried to be vocal in it's dissatisfaction with this horrible government. Also where is Bedford with her threat of outing the Conservatives using sex worker services??

My contacts tells me all will be like usual. Do you think they want to spend their time prosecuting tax paying Johns instead of going after the real bad guys?.
