Buca is a pretty cool looking place located what appears to be a former cellar underground. It has a rustic decor and the Italian food is pretty good. I recently had dinner there with a friend.
They had a bread called Nodini which are little knots of fried bread with olive oil, rosemary, garlic and sea salt. It was pretty good. It was a little too oily for my taste though. I also tried the cheese plate which came with sweet preserves. I usually don't like cheese alone, but I enjoyed this plate. I also shared a plate of cured meats, which was very delicious. Having had worked up an appetite from the previous day's events, I also tried some fried pig's ears. I never had them so wanted to sample. It was okay...not really any taste to it, but it was crunchy. My main course was the tagliatelle which is a duck egg pasta with duck ragu. It was very delicious.
While dining at Buca, I couldn't help but gawk at the hot girls eating at the restaurant. Although the food was very fancy, I wouldn't recommend taking a date here because you will get caught checking out all the hot chicks, which will not impress your date. If your date is not impressed with you at dinner, then chances are you will not get laid...but that's when you just see an escort to satiate your appetite for sex.
Coincidentally, I had made a booking to see an escort after dinner, so I bid my friend adieu, saying that I had to go back to work
