-When I ran my agencies I took great care in screening clients, would wait outside the call locale for the girl, to make sure she was okay/safe and would only accept calls to places I myself would go, that being said things still would happen. Quite a few times I'd have to go in and break up fights between clients and girls, often times they were caused by the girls not the clients. Honesty in this biz is not common, lol and now as an independent I still find most of the "trouble" comes from girls in the biz not clients.
A lot of the rumors, online bashing, negativity is from other sp's, some will start it on their own, others will convince some of their clients, so's, and peers to take part so seeking support within the industry can sometimes be a futile endeavor. People are cliquey, and many will dislike you just because their friends or "partners" dislike you, just the way it is. To be in this biz one simply has to be resilient, thick skinned, able to stand on their own and know that others opinions and comments are just that and not worth stressing over and in most cases believing. I follow this quote I've printed on my website... {quote}" when you stop caring what other people think of you, you've come dangerously close to freedom
"Ban together and zero tolerance for abuse"-it is a nice thought and one would hope all would want this, but sadly that doesn't appear to be the case and until those within the industry stop perpetuating stigmas and causing troubles to one another how can we expect those outside of the industry to stop.
