In conjunction with the upcoming 4/20 holiday, the folks over at conducted a Millennial Sex Survey which discovered that daily marijuana smokers tend to have more sex, more sexual partners and more confidence in the sack than non-smokers.
Wait, really?

tumblr_o5l8w1I5sc1v7honfo2_500.gif

The study found that daily marijuana smokers are much more likely to have lost their virginity at a young age. 8% of daily smokers lost their virginity when they were younger than 12 compared to 2% of those who never smoke. 59% of those who smoke daily lost their virginity when they were 15 or younger compared to 26% of those who never smoke.
Umm, I smoke regularly and I was balls deep in my mom’s Macy’s catalog at 12, people were actually having intercourse? Shit.
Check out some other findings from the survey:

· Daily marijuana smokers have more sex than non-smokers reporting that they have sex “several times per day” (14% vs. 5%).
· Daily marijuana smokers report more sexual partners than those who have never smoked.
• 37% of daily smokers report 15 or more sexual partners compared to 14% of those who have never smoked.
· Daily marijuana smokers have had more one night stands than those who have never smoked (80% vs. 52%).
· Daily marijuana smokers are more confident in the sack than non-smokers. 59% vs. 41% report they are “amazing” or “very good” in bed.
· Marijuana smokers are less likely to use condoms than non-smokers. Only 44% of daily marijuana smokers use condoms compared to 48% of non-smokers.
· Daily marijuana smokers are more likely to use free or paid dating sites than non-smokers (34% vs. 21%).

So what we’ve learned today is that daily weed smokers fuck like roasted rabbits. Or daily weed smokers are fucking liars.

Microsoft to help track legalised marijuana sales

Microsoft has teamed up with California-based technology start-up Kind Financial, which helps businesses and government agencies track sales of legalised marijuana "from seed to sale".

It is the first-ever partnership of its kind for Microsoft.

Kind has been selling its marijuana tracking software to businesses and governments for some three years. The start-up will now be able work on Microsoft's government cloud.

Kind's software, which is called Agrisoft Seed to Sale, "closes the loop between marijuana-related businesses, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions," a press release said.

Microsoft told the BBC in an emailed statement that it supported "government customers and partners to help them meet their missions. Kind Financial is building solutions on our government cloud to help these agencies regulate and monitor controlled substances and items, and manage compliance with jurisdictional laws and regulations," the Microsoft spokesperson said.

Microsoft is based in Washington where cannabis is legal.

Kind said that Microsoft's cloud platform was the only one of its kind "designed to meet government standards for the closely regulated cannabis compliance programmes", The Weed Blog reported.

Microsoft told the Weed Blog it was looking forward to working with Kind "to help our government customers launch successful regulatory programs."

Wynn...continuing to screw over the people of Ontario.

[h=1]Queen’s Park gearing up for legalized weed sales[/h]The Ontario government is quietly gearing up for legalized marijuana sales.

The Ontario government is quietly gearing up for legalized marijuana sales, the Star has learned.
With Prime Minister Justin Trudeau set to allow recreational cannabis use as early as next year, Queen’s Park has begun work on how distribution and retailing will eventually be handled.
Finance Minister Charles Sousa says a working group has been struck comprised of bureaucrats from his department, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Attorney General.
“We’re working with the feds. With their commitment to legalize, regulate and restrict access to marijuana, we are going to work with them,” Sousa said in an interview.
“We’re guided by their commitment, but at the same time we’re having an across-ministry working group. We’ve got senior officials involved. We’ve begun some research and background (work) already in terms of what Ontario’s approach should be,” he said.

“But it’s complex. There’s different viewpoints. There’s different inputs from several ministries. We’re at it. We’re close. But I don’t want to jump the gun on any of this stuff . . . because I want us to take a steady approach as to what’s ultimately going to take place.”
Echoing Premier Kathleen Wynne, who advocates for marijuana sales to be restricted to provincially owned LCBO stores, Sousa said he wanted “to send out the signal” that the era of storefront weed dispensaries is soon coming to an end.
“I, at least, don’t see that being the distribution mechanism. It’s going to have to be controlled,” the treasurer warned.

Of course the province wants to control this and take a big chunk of tax money, even though the local dispensaries have already demonstrated they work, and would provide entrepreneurs with opportunities and create many new jobs.
I have to say though, that if the LCBO is the only 'legal' choice, with the federal, provincial and municipal governments all adding on a big tax bite, I'll probably continue buying the same way I always have.

Voters in California, Nevada and Massachusetts have endorsed the recreational use of marijuana in state-wide polls.

The votes, which took place alongside the presidential election, legalise the growth and consumption of cannabis for those over 21 years old.

Results in Maine are not yet know, while Arizona rejected legalising recreational use.

People in Florida and North Dakota, meanwhile, legalised medicinal use. The drug will be an option in the management of conditions including cancer, Aids and hepatitis C.

California said the taxes on the sale and farming of cannabis would support youth programmes, environmental protection and law enforcement.

America's world leading growth industries:

1) Lottery tickets
2) Malt liquor
3) Casino gambling
4) Weed
5) Suing companies, doctors, the pharma industry and individuals who saved millions of lives but killed 3 people along the way.

6) Protesting not getting "free" college and Obamacare

Not exactly the industrial revolution that made America the greatest, most powerful nation the world has ever seen.

The weed industry will become the next tobacco industry: deleterious effects on developing brains, damage to lung tissue---watch the lawsuits pile up as weed users start blaming all their ills on cannabis. It is inevitable in this society.
Comparing Cannabis to Tobacco.. Lol

I will agree that it can be abused recreationally, but the uses of this plant are enormous.. most of which have nothing to do with getting high.

Well this has been going on for quite some time now and the day of reckoning is fast approaching!
Our governments in Canada both Federal and Provincial seem to have blinders on now and are only looking at two points.
Those to points are the popular vote and the tax revenue that will b generated.
It has been said that the proposed tax $1.00 per gram, plus HST will generate more income than the entire HST generates now! I am not sure out that statement but is no doubt a truckload of money.
I don't want to debate the plus or minus of using Pot but I want to point out a couple of things.
How are they going to say you were impaired when something happens?
No standards have been set as to what constitutes impairment and how is it tested.
How does business deal with this.
Labour boards and such are going to defend the worker but the employer is going to have his hands tied behind his back on this.
This is going to be just like alcohol. It is an illness. You are going to have to offer and pay for treatment. You can't ask a potential worker if he or she is a puffer.
You can't fire someone if they puff at lunch or break time.
This entire fiasco is going t overload our courts.
Kinda makes me want to retire now.
