Thinking of a career change. I do okay financially. So its not about the money.

I drive into work listening on the radio, all these morning show personalities, but sorry.........they alllllllll suck. from 92.5 93.5 99.9 97.3 104.5 102.1 103.5 107.1 97.7fm radio and all these personalities are so un-entertaining they try too hard to be entertaining and humorous. Lot of their segments are pretty gay like 99.9's bad boyfriend poker. Many times i find their shtick repetitive and they don't come across natural in their delivery. I don't need writers for the show either cuz my mind is always creative and working in overtime.

If anyone on this board knows of anyone in the broadcasting industry, let me know. I'd like to get in touch with them as i think i can bring original material (off the top of my head on a daily basis) and hiliarious segment ideas. I would love to audition. As much as i love howard stern, i have even more original and raunchy ideas and segments even he would approve.

I'm serious about this as this has been on my mind for a few years.

If I had a radio spot......would you listen? oldguy and baz, i already know your answer.

You mean you THINK you know the answer. Just because I object to your misogynistic bullshit in some threads doesn't mean you know anything about my tastes in radio or anything else. I listen to Opie and Anthony on my drive in, and Stern on my return drive. They tend to be entertaining. Can you be?

I would need to hear the sound of your voice before deciding. Are you a tenor or a bass?

The radio guys spend years on schooling and start at the bottom. i was listening to Bob McCown the other day saying how he got refused for years on small markets till he got a break. Start with small radio stations, impress them then the big boys will come calling.

You must get a demo of your voice and send it to every radio station you can think of.

Good luck.
