I'd be Boston Rob but with a little friend and Dickhead who would definitely get into a lot of trouble on an island with women wearing next to nothing.
Boston Rob excelled at being ruthless, and at herding sheep, but he needed to play more than once, to figure that out. Sandra Diaz-Twine knew what to do, without having to learn from her own mistakes, and that's why she was the only one who ever won twice, but never lost, unless you count Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games trilogy, but it's a lot easier to win twice in a book and movie franchise, than in real life.
My all time favorite television series, Oz, is, essentially, a game of survivor, and the winner was Ryan O'Reiley, who was never a part of any formal alliance, but he always succeeded, by getting someone else to do what he wanted done, by convincing the other guy that Ryan's ideas were his own. He might have been whacked in the second episode of the first season, if he hadn't gotten Johnny Post to take out Dino Ortolani for him, because Ryan and Dino could not co-exist, in public, or behind bars. Ryan couldn't whack Dino himself, or have it done by someone who would have told the Mafia guys who had ordered the hit, so he recruited a guy who would do the deed, and keep his mouth shut, until somebody opened it for him, and filled it with the guy's severed genitals. By that point, Ryan was already setting up his next target.
Most people missed that, if they watched Oz. They looked at the individual episodes, rather than viewing the series as one episode, in 42 parts.
Oz was the only TV show that my cat watched intensely. Sometimes he will watch Formula One cars for a while, and he enjoyed bits of Trailer Park Boys sometimes, but Oz had him transfixed, but only until the end of season 4, when Kareem Said killed Simon Adebesi. He didn't watch seasons five and six. Shortly after that, he killed a cat that lived across the street in a fight, and didn't have a scratch on him. I didn't see the fight, but teenagers across the street did, and when they saw my cat outside, they said "There's that cat that killed Smokey".
My cat never had any problems with other cats in the neighbourhood after that. His beef was with Smokey, he took care of Smokey, and the other cats didn't interfere with him after that, if they were both outside at the same time.
It's exactly the same as when Young Don Vito played by Robert De Niro, whacked Don Fanucci in The Godfather Part II. He did it, because Don Fanucci would have tried to get someone to do it for him, if Vito had given him time to arrange that. That's why Vito acted first, and lived relatively peacefully, until Barzini tried to use Solozzo to take him out.
My cat didn't watch The Godfather movies, because he had already learned what he needed to know, from watching Oz, and he has more important things to do, than watch TV, like eating, sleeping, and keeping his ass clean.
I don't let him out anymore, now that I live downtown, but he's OK with that. He's older now, and he had plenty of outside freedom when he was younger. He understands the value of the friendship I have shown him, but if he jumps up on my bed, I have to turn towards him, because if I show him my back, he'll take practice bites, to make sure I'm still alive. If I dropped dead, I believe he would eat me, for as long as my flesh was edible, rather than meow constantly, until someone tried to figure out why the guy upstairs' cat won't shut up.
We're best buds, but if I'm not able to feed him, a cat's still got to eat. Fortunately, I've found a cat food that he doesn't get sick of eating, so I don't have to flush half of his food down the toilet, because it got stale. He'd rather starve than eat food he doesn't like, because that's the only way he can tell me to not feed him something anymore. For years, he was content to eat tuna for most of his meals, plus a dry food from the vet. When I gave him some rare roast beef, he didn't want to eat tuna anymore. When I gave him some Purina Fancy Feast, (only the Pate type, not the other varieties), he didn't want to eat rare roast beef anymore. I give him what he wants, and he appreciates that. I just don't want to pay for food that ends up being flushed down the toilet, and he doesn't want that either, so we're on the same page for everything, and we live in peace.
