Cold cuts sandwiches

Turkey and bacon on rye bread. Not toasted, little mayo with let and tom.

The most spicy salami I can find with melted swiss, black pepper, and dijon mustard on rye or pumpernickel.

Dammit you bastids making me hungry!!

I love a real jewish deli smoked turkey on light rye with dijon mustard, lettuce, tomato, strubs hot pepper rings, and mayo. I was working on this house for some russians and they had this "mother in law's tongue" horseradish...that stuff IS the BOMB. Like that hot sauce, I put that shit on everything (until I ran out and don't know where to get more).

I like the old fashioned tuna melt.

yeah, tuna melts are good. I had an awesome one at a little diner just outside of times square in NYC......(it was featured in the movie "sidewalks of New York")

I tried wasabi and found it to be just "hot" as opposed to flavourful. That's why I love the strubs hot peppers, they are not just hot, but taste amazing. Same as the mother in law tongue horseradish. Damn that stuff tastes amazing.

(although I dare say I think it has caused a migraine or two...seriously)

I know this thread is about cold cuts but one of my favourite burgers (when I ate hamburger) was load it up with jalapenos and smother it with sour cream. You get the hot and the smooth. I stole that idea from an eatery called Lime Rickey's. They featured it as a Juanita Burger.

...Dang I thought I invented this new recipe ....bbq burger with cut up jalapeno and onions (both steamed in foil) plus zucchini...and this stuff is the bomb...i was shocked how good it tasted. So i invited a couple of my friends to try it and they all gave :great::great:

another cold sandwich I recommend.....goat cheese with grilled veggies such as eggplants, red peppers and zucchini...awesome flavour....(u can add others as well)

depends on the day but for me a ham sandie made with 6 or 8 slices of wafer thin ham on white, muenster cheese and WEBER'S Horseradish Mustard is always good.

As for Bacon you take 8 slices and wave it into a square, cook until crisp. Add cheese and serve on toasted bread.

I'm not reading any more of this thread. Hey, I missed lunch, I'm out of here!:go:
