Frankly, because it's a bigger market, and my job is (in part) sales. It'd be negligent to ignore it. The unfortunate reality is that posts there still have more reach, and I owe it to my bosses to do everything in my power to connect them with the patrons who would like their company.

What we're doing is so radically different from the typical set-up (except maybe Allegra and Aria) that any opportunity to talk about it is one I'm going to take. It's sales but it's not just that: it's also about educating and representing something that I believe in really intensely, to potential patrons and Companions alike. It's 2017 and we can demand more from agency-type structures in terms of representation for both sides.

Offering a reward to something I like and support doesn't mean I'm going to ignore another. In general I find HUBGFE to be an inclusive community and the reviews are well-written and thought out. If me participating more here or if me offering an incentive here encourages more people to move over, even better :-Cool/"

Twit...what?

The problem with Twitter is that it's a phone app. Sure you can turn off notifications and such, and even hide it from the main screens. But it only takes one slight mistake and you have an angry SO asking why you're following SPs on Twitter. How about Tumblr? It's not as interactive. Mostly blogs and pics. If my SO went into my Tumblr app, she would see dozens of pics and wouldn't likely be able to sort thru them all.

Tumblr's not as good for all our updates - and twitter lets each woman manage her own image, which I adore, and take it with her if she wants to be more independent, which I actively encourage. It doesn't have to be a phone app. You can use it as a browser. We're about to launch our daily schedule automatically on Twitter every morning for the most up-to-date information. Bonus: Twitter selfies of everyone!
