I joined the red board when there was an insightful and frank exchange of ideas, everyone was relaxed, and Companions would join in with no fear and honest opinions. The opics were interesting, the replies were polite and well structured, and misogyny was looked down upon. These days, when a girl speaks her mind there, the general reply theme is "Shut your mouth and go suck cock. Let the men talk."
It's why I stopped posting there, except to point out what a bunch of knuckle-dragging morons these people are, at least behind a keyboard. Even if they may get more traffic, I won't post reviews there anymore either. I don't need the ego stroke, and I don't support misogyny.
When girls ask me if they should become active on the boards, I tell them only if they develop a thicker skin. And if they must, they should join HUBGFE.

I'm here 90% of the time. It's fun to clown around in this environment.
I don't visit the other Ontario boards, and don't post much here, but in general I do get a feeling it has adults, and that the guys understand the ladies are not their enemy. Mostr people seem pretty happy to be here, and I think all it needs (based on comments above) is a bit more in the way of the independent advertiser input. But, that will depend on ad rates. You can do a lot with lower rates, to encourage more ads, but it's hard for indy sps to decide where to spend their ad dollars if they are unsure what the results would be.
I think review sites might have started out being about warning about scams and ripoffs (the real kind, where money is taken and the sp either heads out the door or some guy comes out of the closet kind of ripoffs), but now it has deteriorated to call sps ripoffs if they don't provide PSE services, or if she charges a moderate to high rate, or if she refused to see the guy at all.
I am not interested in visiting sites where all you see is comments from pimply faced teenage boys snickering about the naughty pics and calling all women bitches.
