A man in his 50s was struck and killed in Burlington Sunday night.

While details are still emerging, emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Appleby Line and Dundas Street.

Appleby Line north of Dundas Street will remain closed until after midnight for the investigation.

You make a good point but thinking the kind of scumbag Bernardo is, being locked up with no female companion, nobody to really talk to I think in his mind his fate is worth than death. I least I'm hoping this is how he's looking at it.
