Europe and North America spend billions a year on anti-cancer research and treatments. Cuba, with it's long history of medical innovation (that's sarcasm, folks) has done this before, and each time been revealed to be bogus. When it hits a peer-reviewed journal with double-blind test results, I'll start believing.
In the past, these "cures" have been a way to con "patients" to the island to spend lots of cash, all in the hope that a miracle will happen. And it never does, but the patient isn't usually alive to complain.
As a research oncologist by training, I find this whole approach to be pathetic and exploitive.
It should be shunned upon and they should be punished if this is true.
