I think the age stratification has more to do with opportunity than cash flow.

Lots of 20-somethings with great cash flow (remember the demographics of sub-30's still living at home). Plus, every time there's a party we hear about the guys who don't drive (a vehicle is a big drain on cash).

When you're in your 20s, you have many opportunities to meet girls, socialize, etc. That disappears as you pass 30 and your friends are settling down with families and you're no longer going out every weekend or playing beach volleyball 3 nights a week.

Sure, you can still hit the clubs and hope to snag a chick. But sooner than you realize, you've become *that guy* (yeah, the creepy older guy all the kids make fun of at the club).

Your last post is so true. I will share a true story with the group. Last week Ida a few close friends and I ended up in Aurora. We shopped around had dinner at a nice restaurant and then decided to go dancing and have a few drinks. We ended up at a bar lounge recommended to us by another acquaintance who was more familiar with Aurora than us. The name of the establishment eludes me now but it is north of King on the east side of Yonge st. Once we walked in the age of the crowd caught my attention right away. It was a much older crowd and upon asking the waitress about this she told us it's 30 and up only. On the dance floor it was an array of differently aged people but in the middle was an older gentleman. Perhaps in his mid 60's I'm guessing. He was dancing up a storm, swaying back and forth and approaching all the attractive younger women on the dance floor. It was funny but at the same time sad to see. Ida and our lady friend was also approached later in the evening while they were dancing together and in turn the ladies turned their back and he quickly got the hint so in the end he was quite harmless. Harmless yes but sad because obviously this older gentleman was alone and was in need of some companionship. If truth be known and this will shock some of you I'm sure because this feeling I had did shock me but in a strange way I wanted to steer him to this site. I suggested this to Ida and was given a look that I know way to well so I left it alone.

Carry on and have a good weekend people, it's time for me to get on with my weekend!

Imagine thinking that you know a stranger's life, and then feeling entitled to judge them. Sanctimonious little shit.

Of course I wouldn't expect anything else coming from you. Let's try this, the sky is blue.
