A good conversation last night over this topic. Most of my friends said yes they do and also looks and how tall you are comes into the equation. Are we all that blind?.

Of course it's human nature.
Anyone who says they don't is lying. It's not just human nature, it's how we get through life. It's about first impressions, situational awareness, forming expectations, etc.
I've been dressing more casually this year. (OK, on the weaken, I look like a slob.). It's a bit of a kick going to retail stores and seeing what reaction I get. I went to the Apple store yesterday. I let my kid play with the iPad while I waited for a blue shirt. I stood for a good 15 minutes while at least 5 blues walked by to greet other customers at the entrance.
Honestly I see this happen around me often.
That said... If you walk in like you own the world in jeans, a sweat shirt, and sneakers. They will still fall all over you. They assume you must be loaded to walk in like that and think you're the big turd in the toilet bowl of life.
